From the brewery:
Jan De Lichte is a Belgian high-fermentation beer.
The beer has been brewed since 2005 in the De Glazen Toren Brewery in Mere in the municipality of Erpe-Mere. It is a straw-blond wheat beer with an alcohol percentage of 7%. The beer is named after the eighteenth-century crook Jan de Lichte from Velzeke. The book De bende van Jan de Lichte by Louis Paul Boon was inspired by this robber.
