We are so excited to bring you the next edition of our ‘Brewers Cut’ project, aptly named ‘Manchester Fresh Hop Golden Ale 23’. Our first ever Green Hop beer, utilising freshly grown hops from MCR Hop Project. It was such a joy to be able to use a product grown in local soil by passionate folks and to experiment and push ourselves with an ingredient that we’ve used many times, but not in this form. The result is a crisp Golden Ale with a bready malt character, that gives way to an assertive and long bitterness. We get fresh bread, biscuit crumb with a delicate citrus zip. A real ode to the traditional ales that we were reared on and wrapped in the beautiful designs of Cheryl Maslen.
