Rochefort 8 is dark in colour with an off-white head. It is best served between 12 and 14° C, revealing a harmonious balance between its caramel and dark berry aromas, its complexity and its alcohol content.

The number 8 does not refer to the alcohol content; it comes from an old Belgian unit of measurement that expressed the density of the wort.
